OMI NB-103 Pliers (Omi by Nghia)

OMI NB-103 pliers made of Japanese cobalt steel, designed for precise and comfortable cutting thanks to their specially profiled jaws. They feature a box joint for increased strength and stability, a single-sided spring with a locking mechanism, and a satin finish with polished elements. Manufactured by OMI (Nghia) in Vietnam, they are suitable for autoclave sterilization and chemical disinfection.

Recommended maintenance:

• Clean up residue after use (acetone for residue if necessary).
• Disinfect according to protocol and immerse in disinfectant liquid according to manufacturer's instructions.
• Lubricate the joint with machine oil.
• Store with a leaf protector if applicable and in a horizontal position.

Warnings:

• Autoclave: basic cycle 121 °C for 15 min (deactivation 132–134 °C, pressure ≈3 bar).
• Caution: Even steel can be damaged (discoloration, pitting, corrosion) if overly aggressive solutions or excessive exposure times are used; always follow the disinfectant manufacturer's recommendations.
